Incorrect lifting technique is a very common cause of injury in the workplace.
Ensure you are using proper lifting technique, lift with your legs, not your back.
If the product is marked ‘2 person lift’ or is too heavy for you to lift comfortably alone, use two people to lift it, do not attempt to do it by yourself.
Ensure you are taking adequate breaks if and when they are necessary as outlined by our H&S breaks policy.
If you are experiencing excessive fatigue, report it to the site manager straight away.
